AUCKLAND, NZ — ZURU co-founder Nick Mowbray adds a new product to his name after his success with children’s toys and diapers: adult pacifiers.
The entrepreneur, with a toy and diaper empire, is now tapping into a new trend involving grown adults popping pacifiers that offer great benefits.
“I wear one every day,” Mowbray confessed. “We know that wearable tech is really growing. If you look at Hapbee Neckband, for instance, it looks weird to be wearing that around your neck, but it has amazing benefits. Same with this Pacifier. It reduces anxiety, stress, and more. And you can customise it.”
The pacifiers will be launched under a new brand CALM and will come in different flavours including Office Zen and Put Me To Sleep.
At publishing time, Mowbray was spotted outside Auckland High Court, calmly sucking on a glitter-flecked CALM pacifier while effortlessly fending off questions from a media mob about a patent dispute, expressing totall zen.
