WASHINGTON, D.C. — After the first briefing by Karoline Leavitt, White House Reporters expressed disappointment due to having a new press secretary who wouldn’t lie, which is what’s needed to keep legacy media afloat.
This was clearly a shock after what the journalists had experienced for the last four years, being fed lies to make up fake news stories to keep the big pharma revenue coming in.
“What is this rubbish?” asked CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta. “I need to watch the entire briefing again. But I’m pretty sure she said she will speak the truth and only the truth, and there will be no lies. I mean, you might as well just get Joe Rogan in here, and Alex Jones, and Charlie Kirk, and Tucker Carlson, if you want to tell the truth. We are not interested in that whatsoever. We need lies. That’s what we got the last four years. I’m so disappointed right now.”
Other members of the media also expressed disappointment and felt that something was off. “It just felt funny,” said CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. “It was so weird. I asked so many questions, and she kept telling the truth. I’m like.. this is not what this job is about. We need stories that we make up, but to do that, we need lies, not truth. I know that this will not go down well at CNN. Americans are not ready for the truth.”
Sources also heard rumours that they might be losing their credentials so there is more room for new media personalities who love telling the truth.
At publishing time, White House Chief of Staff has advised Levitt that she should try and lie a little so she wouldn’t scare everyone off this much.
