Waitangi Tribunal Scrapped, Royal Navy Appointed To Trace Polynesian Navigation Routes And Ship Everyone Back In Tiny Wooden Boats
WELLINGTON, NZ – New Zealand government has announced the dissolution of the Waitangi Tribunal, replacing it with a Royal Navy-led initiative to “trace Polynesian origins” and deport Māori descendants back to their ancestral homeland in tiny wooden boats.
The announcement, led by ACT Party leader David Seymour, comes amid a controversial review branding the Tribunal an “activist organisation” that has outlived its purpose, and unsure “why these people are still here?”
