Trump Signs Peace Deal Where Putin Gets Ukraine For A Week And Zelensky Has It The Week After
WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump signed a historic peace agreement bringing an end to the Russia-Ukraine war.
The deal, finalized after intense negotiations at the White House, grants Russian President Vladimir Putin control of Ukraine for one week starting Monday, March 10, 2025, followed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky regaining authority the week after, beginning March 17. The arrangement will alternate weekly.
