NZ — Even the chimps that live in Uganda’s forest will raise their eyebrows if they heard that you dropped your child at school with no school lunch.
So we didn’t tell them about it, instead we created a guide on how to make a simple school lunch, a secret recipe, one that your child will love for the entirety of school life, every single day.
Here it is;
Marmite Sandwich
Loaf of bread: $1.19 for 26 slices (Woolworth’s Essential Sliced White Bread)
Marmite 500g: $6.80 (66 sandwiches)
Sunrise Butter Spread 500g: $2.99 (33 sandwiches)
Visto Storage Container: $2
Grab two slices, apply the butter. Not too much. Just cover the entire slice surface. Then do the same with the marmite. That’s about it. Chuck it in a container and ask your child to put it in his school bag.
