Pregnant Man Overjoyed As Minister Mandates All Pregnant People Be Called Women
WELLINGTON NZ — A pregnant man radiated joy after associate minister of health Casey Costello ordered Health New Zealand to refer to all pregnant people as women.
“I have been waiting for this moment my entire life,” said Wellington resident Taylor Green. “So many cookers call me a man, especially when I identify as a women, and now that I’m pregnant, I will be called exactly that. This is the best baby shower present ever. THANK YOU. I do realise that this is temporary, and after delivering the baby, I will be identified as a man again, and but I’ll enjoy it until giving birth.”
This change seeks to simplify medical language. A Health New Zealand spokesperson explained that “women” is a straightforward, traditional term meant to cover all pregnant patients.
At publishing time, Casey Costello also ordered all pregnant people to smoke a pack of cigarettes daily.
