NEW YORK, NY — Elizabeth Warren, also known as Pocahontas, becomes the first Native American to endorse the newest African American candidator for New York Mayor.
“I’m so excited to endorse Zohran. Because of our ancestry connections, we can bring fresh solutions to New York, straight from the voices of our ancestors. For me, New York City is the place to start the conversation about changing the future, going back to living like natives with rent control and supermarket control,” Warren said.
This endorsement from Pocahontas comes after Mamdani struggled to get any endorsement from officials, but Elisabeth couldn’t stop gushing all over Mamdani.
“Everything can be free. That’s what New York can become. Let’s charge the wealthy people and use that income to then make everything free for everyone else.”
At publishing time, Pocahontas also said that her endorsement comes with a condition that Zohran, if he becomes mayor, will have to pay her 5% commission from the City’s wealth tax.
