Marco Rubio Revokes Student Visa For Students Not Attending Class
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a new policy Friday under President Donald Trump’s second term that revokes F-1 visas for international students who miss a single class.
The rule targets foreign students accused of coming to the U.S. to protest instead of study.
Rubio said the administration is done with students who disrupt campuses rather than attend lectures. “You’re here for education, not chaos,” he stated at a press conference. President Trump praised the move on Truth Social, writing, “NO MORE SKIPPING CLASS TO CAUSE TROUBLE. MARCO IS WATCHING YOU!”
