LAFD Diversity Chief Says Men Will Not Be Rescued Because They Don't Look Like Women
LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles Fire Department's (LAFD) Diversity Chief, Kristine Larson, has declared that men will not receive rescue services from the department unless they look like women.
“Put some lipstick on, and a dress from your wife’s wardrobe, and wait outside, or else we won’t be rescuing you,” said Larson, emphasizing the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in emergency response. "We must ensure that our rescue operations reflect the diversity of our community. If you want help, you need to look like the people we're trying to represent in our department."
A man, identified only as John, who tragically died. Before his death, he had reportedly said, "I was told I wouldn't be rescued because I didn't have makeup on. They said I didn't meet the diversity quota."
