LOS ANGELES — Thousands are expected to pack the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum tomorrow for a memorial service honoring the cancellation of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the late-night show terminated by ABC for no longer serving the public interest.
The memorial service, promoted as a tribute to the show, will feature Vice President Kamala Harris delivering a word salad, and loud laughter.
Harris is set to eulogize the show with her trademark oratory style. Her speech is expected to be a cry for protecting free speech.
Jimmy Kimmel Live was killed last week by ABC with a fatal one-shot with no chance of survival. The autopsy report revealed the cause of death as “censoring free speech.”
The service will include a montage of Jimmy Kimmel Live’s greatest hits, with other guest speakers including Stephen King, Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, Gavin Newsom, and Joe Biden.
At publishing time, Kamala Harris just arrived on stage with a bottle of whiskey, to deliver her word salad.
