Jevon's Listening Age on Spotify Wrapped Revealed As 16
NZ — Former New Zealand Police Deputy Commissioner Jevon McSkimming’s 2025 Spotify Wrapped has declared his official Listening Age to be a sprightly 16 years old.
“I’m actually stoked,” McSkimming reportedly told friends while nervously deleting his search history. “It just proves I’m incredibly in touch with today’s youth culture. Nothing weird about that. Totally normal for a 50-year-old man.”
Police Minister Mark Mitchell praised the result, saying, “Finally, objective data showing one of our senior leaders has the exact same music taste as the demographic we’re meant to protect. This is community policing at its finest.”
When asked for comment, a spokesperson for the Independent Police Conduct Authority simply sighed and muttered, “We’re going to need a bigger hard drive.”
At publishing time, McSkimming was seen bragging about his Wrapped age on Snapchat with underage girls.
