Jasmine Crockett Defends Calling Governor Abbott "Vegetable"

U.S. — Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett defended her comments made during a banquet in Los Angeles where she referred to Texas Governor Greg Abbott as a “vegetable.”

Crockett claimed that the description was accurate and she was simply stating a fact. “In this age of misinformation, I like to state facts. The conservative media is simply twisting my words. And what happened to free speech? The left is not allowed to make fun of Republicans?”
