TEHRAN — With Trump announcing Phase 1 of the peace plan with Hamas completed, Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei urged his allies to avoid peace in the Middle East at all costs.
“While it is disappointing that Hamas are negotiating with Trump to achieve peace in Gaza, I urge my followers that war must continue in Middle East,” said Ali Khamenei.
Hamas as a militia group that form part of Iran’s proxy network in the Middle East to cause unrest and impose Iran’s version of islam and rule of law. Iran see western involvement as a threat to their dominance over the region.
“Zionists must be destroyed in the name of the almighty,” shouted the supreme leader during his speech. “Do not let the dark evil forces who are working behind our back to bring long-lasting prosperous peace.”
At publishing time, Kamenei warned that ‘peace in Gaza’ means ‘no more fighting’ in the Middle East.
