GAZA — Hamas officials announced that they are officially cutting ties with the Green Party in New Zealand, declaring them as a threat to their ongoing peace negotiations with President Donald Trump.
“We just accepted Trump’s peace plan, and we want our supporters to celebrate and endorse President Trump for bringing peace in Gaza,” said Hamas spokesperson. “Anyone that attempts to derail this, is not our friend.”
The announcement came after a media session hosted by Green Party co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick, where family members of the intercepted Gaza flotilla—including the parents of detained Kiwi teen Samuel Leason—wailed about alleged rough treatment by Israeli forces. “They gave him a dry falafel wrap without hummus!” sobbed Leason’s dad.
“Peace has arrived to our shores in Gaza. Stop entering Gaza with your empty boats. Palestinians are capable of achieving peace with our new friend Trump,” continued Hamas spokesperson. “We are also concerned about Chlöe Swrbrick. Her eyes suggest she is on drugs. This is dangerous, and may delay peace. Please stop.”
At publishing time, Hamas has urged Green Party NZ to acknowledge President Trump and Winston Peters, for their efforts in bringing peace to the Middle East.
