Hamas Clarifies Reason For Starting This War: To Create Videos On TikTok
GAZA — Hamas issued a statement today clarifying the true motivation behind their latest war with Israel. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not about land, ideology, or resistance—it’s about racking up views, likes, and shares on TikTok.
“We’ve been misunderstood,” said Hamas spokesperson Khalil Al-Viral in a livestream on TikTok. “This war is about shifting western world’s perspective on terrorism, and normalising it. And, our followers in the Western world, especially teachers in schools and university students, love a good sob story.”
The revelation comes after Hamas influencers were seen filming the coffins of children they murdered with expensive equipment. “We realized early on that rockets and tunnels are fine, but the real weapon is a 15-second TikTok video,” Al-Viral explain.
“We A/B tested a few videos—turns out, children’s coffins get 30% more likes than parading adults who we have starved. And if you add a cute puppy looking sad-face in the background? Boom, instant viral hit.”
At publishing time, Hamas was trending on TikTok, testing a new video, executing an Israeli hostage live on TikTok.
