MEDITERRANEAN SEA — Greta Thunberg’s humanitarian mission ended after Global Sumud Flotilla caught on fire.
The cause of the fire has been pinned to a fart let out by crew member after eating baked beans for dinner.
As the boat remained stationary off the coast of a Tunisian port, activist Greta Thunberg was heard shouting for others on board to jump off into sea, after hearing a crew member let out a loud fart.
“I knew it,” said Greta, “the moment I heard that fart, I knew it would be deadly. I had just been in the kitchen, and I could smell gas. So the moment I heard that fart, we had to take cover.”
The boat has been burnt completely, and Greta and her crew are now attempting to travel to gaza on a rescue dinghy.
At publishing time, Greta said she will take the opportunity to blame Israel for planting irresistible baked bean cans in the boat.
