Great Kids Let Mum Sleep-In Until 7 On Mothers Day

CAMBRIDGE, NZ — Local mother Olivia Smith was enjoying her sleep-in this Mother’s Day when her kids stormed in.

“Happy Mother’s Day,” her eldest son shouted, as the younger son screamed and tore her face incoherently, while Olivia was attending to her new born baby.

The kids got their mum a meal of cold toast and eggs that had been dropped on the ground on the way to the bedroom. Olivia was pleased to see her kids, and was grateful that they had let her sleep for so long, and all the way until 7 am.

“That was amazing. Best sleep ever,” Olivia said. “I feel so spoiled by the kids. What time is it?” When Olivia realised it was way past 7, she panicked. “I better get up and make breakfast for the kids, and clean up the house.”

At publishing time, Olivia was seen vacuuming the house while holding her baby.
