Gerry Brownlee Spotted At 2-Dollar Shop Shopping For Gladiator Armor And Sword
NZ — Speaker of the House Gerry Brownlee was spotted by shoppers at the local $2 shop, frantically searching for armor to shield him from the political projectiles of the radical left in Parliament this coming week.
"Usually, after a Haka, there's contact, and one of these lunatics made a gesture that looked like they were pointing a gun at another member," Gerry explained to a fellow shopper, his tone suggesting he was bracing for battle.
Earlier in the day, Gerry was seen at the cinema with his shoplifter friend Golriz, watching "Gladiator 2". It was then he got the idea to go shopping for an armor, with the help of Golriz, obviously.
At publishing time, the shop owner confirmed Gerry paid for the armor, however, a dress has gone missing.
