Headlines that should be satire: Not The Chimp
AUCKLAND, NZ — Former Green Party MP and convicted shoplifter Golriz Ghahraman has sparked controversy over a boozy brunch at Atelier, a trendy eatery on Auckland’s famously liberal K Road.
Restaurant’s manager reported that Ghahraman, visibly drunk, was asked to leave for being rude to staff.
Ghahraman responded with a statement on social media stating, “As an oppressed minority, I have the right to get as drunk as any white person at brunch and be rude to whoever I want!”
At publishing time, Golriz Ghahraman was spotted at a nearby café on K Road, attempting to pay for her flat white with “reparations credits.”
