Destiny Church Ditches Charity Status, Registers New Charity Punching Politicians In The Face
AUCKLAND, NZ — Destiny Church has dropped its old charity status and started a new one. Facing pressure to lose its tax-free status over protests at a library, Brian Tamaki decided to start a new charity. Destiny Fists will lift spirits of frustrated Kiwis who can pay the charity to punch their politician.
The church claims it’s a public service. They’ve set up in a warehouse with a boxing ring and a few cameras to livestream the sessions. Tamaki says it’s about fixing the country, one punch at a time. Politicians are nervous, and legal experts say it’s questionable, but Destiny is already taking cash for the cause. The money will fund a giant boxing glove that Tamaki will use to punch politicians.
