GOMBE, TANZANIA — Chimpanzees at Gombe National Park have issued an urgent plea to Māoris to tone down their war rhetoric in civilised places, such as New Zealand’s Parliament.
Bobo, the alpha chimp at Gombe National Park, expressed concern that the Māori are reverting back to uncivilised ways of conducting themselves, which is counter-productive when co-existing with civilised people.
