AUCKLAND, NZ — Activist and actor Acacia O’Connor has announced hosting a peaceful molotov cocktail making workshop on Winston Peters’ front yard.
“This will be a totally peaceful workshop, and remember, it is BYO,” said Acacia O’Connor on Instagram. “We will teach you how to make DIY molotov cocktails, that you can use to protest peacefully.”
Media contacted her for comments concerning the dangers of molotov cocktails causing potential property damage.
“Protesting is totally legal in New Zealand. But if someone decides to chuck their molotov onto Winston’s house, we are not responsible that. This is a totally peaceful, protest” said O’Connor.
At publishing time, the workshop recommends all attendees to “light up their molotov cocktail in remembrance of Palestinians killed by Israel”, and it also states, “please do not chuck your molotov cocktail through Winston’s window.”
