Benjamin Doyle Resigns From Parliament To Pursue New Career As Babysitter
WELLINGTON, NZ – Green Party MP Benjamin Doyle has resigned from Parliament to pursue a career in babysitting. The announcement comes amid a whirlwind of controversy over alleged social media posts that Doyle insists were just a misunderstanding.
Doyle’s departure follows days of scrutiny over social media posts from Instagram account “BibleBeltBussy,” which reportedly featured photos of children paired with eyebrow-raising captions. The former MP waved off the backlash, after finally confronting reporters, “Look, I’m just a quirky guy who loves boys. Nothing wrong with queering it up with the kids.”
The Green Party issued a statement wishing Doyle well, and confirmed no further investigation is required.
At publishing time, Doyle was seen outside a local kindergarten, handing out campaign flyers titled “Bussy Babysitter.”
