April Is Distracted Driver Awareness Month, And April Is Also A Girl’s Name
Leftovers are satire that didn’t make the cut this week but decent enough for a weekend laugh
April is now officially the Distracted Driver Awareness Month. Coincidentally, April is also a girl’s name. Women make one of only two genders in this world, and also, the gender that is more likely to scratch or dent a car.
April is also the name of a 23-year-old barista from Portland who, challenges this notion. “I just feel like my followers need to know about my oat milk latte in real time, and I can multitask,” claimed April, the owner of a banged-up Tesla.
This campaign aims to curb behaviours like texting, eating, and less women on the road.
At publishing time, April is now also the Women Driver Awareness Month, which means, men to be aware of women drivers on the road!
