U.S. — After Trump’s White House started offering 50-year mortgages, Apple announced it would also be offering 50-year iPhone financing.
“With everything so crazy expensive these days, we have to make our products more accessible to people,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook. “So we are excited to announce new financing options for our entire iPhone range. Now you can get an iPhone on 50-year financing option.”
Financial experts warned to not sign up for Apple’s 50-year financing option, warning it will cost buyers $20,000 in interest alone. “It does sound like a great deal as you get a shiny new phone, but after 50 years, your grand children will be paying your debt with all that interest.”
Apple CEO Tim Cook assured the public that this is not a scam, but a strategic plan to ensure people used Apple iPhones for the next 50 years. “We don’t have any plans to roll out new products. This is it. So we are shifting towards financing, to ensure we lock everyone in for another 50-years.”
The 50-year plan gives you the option to change to the latest phone available.
At publishing time, Apple has announced it is shifting its focus from building great products to financing.
