Andrew Bayly Gets Into Heated Argument With Sherpa For Blocking His Way To Mount Everest Summit
MOUNT EVEREST — Former New Zealand Commerce Minister Andrew Bayly, recently sacked for allegedly laying hands on a public servant, decided a Himalayan getaway to Mount Everest would be the perfect way to "cool off" from the scandal.
Sources report that Bayly encountered a Sherpa who was taking too long on the slopes. The Sherpa’s slow pace blocked Bayly’s path to the summit, prompting the ex-minister to unleash a tirade that echoed across the icy cliffs.
“He called the Sherpa a ‘loser’ and said, ‘I didn’t come all this way to be stuck behind some guy carrying luggage for all these lazy climbers” recounted one frostbitten bystander. “Then he just shoved him—like, full-on, hands-on-chest shoved him—right off the side of the mountain. It was wild.”
