Andrea Vance Goes Broke After 'The Post' Installed A Swear Jar In The Newsroom
WELLINGTON – Andrea Vance, National Affairs Editor for The Post and Sunday Star-Times, has reportedly gone bankrupt following the installation of a swear jar in the newsroom.
The drastic measure came just one day after Vance’s controversial column, in which she branded female MPs, including Finance Minister Nicola Willis, with the c-word. In response, The Post’s management rolled out the swear jar.
Insiders claim she exhausted her savings by mid-afternoon, having racked up dozens of fines for describing everyone she covered in her stories as “cunts.”
In a desperate bid to keep up, she reportedly sold her prized collection of parliamentary press passes on TradeMe, only to blow the proceeds on a particularly heated rant about “that cunt who runs Wellington.”
At publishing time, Vance was spotted outside The Post’s office, scribbling “cunt” on a protest sign aimed at the swear jar itself.
