WASHINGTON, D.C. — After suffering a head injury from a fall, Senator John Fetterman announced he is quitting the democratic party.
Fetterman reportedly collapsed after a fall near his home in Braddock, Pennsylvania, which sent him to a Pittsburgh hospital with a facial injury and brain damage.
His office reported that he is fine, aside from the fact that he doesn’t believe he is a democrat.
“Elon Musk, if you’re listening, give me a call, and let’s get the America Party started,” said Fetterman. “I can’t believe I could even be part of this lunatic Party. Guess I gotta say thanks to the fall. Sometimes, the brain needs a rude wakening call.”
At publishing time, Fetterman was seen for the first time wearing a suit.
